Cocoa butter is commonly deodorized for cosmetic use but Anna Rósa uses the natural version that gives her creams a characteristic underlying chocolate aroma.

I bought this balm for my 75-year old mother when she had a really really bad bout of shingles, post-herpetic neuralgia and very slowly healing wounds as a result. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! I have **severe** chronic eczema year-round but in the wintertime I additionally get psoriasis on my face. I live in New England where it is very dry and bitterly cold 5 months a year and my skin always freaks out every single winter. The COVID pandemic has made my eczema worse because of all the hand sanitizers drying out and chapping my hands. This past winter I discovered Anna Rósa’s Bliss Healing balm and I SWEAR THIS STUFF WORKS. I purchased in the beginning of March and I used it twice a day and I’m only now beginning to run out of it (it’s May 1st this weekend). So basically one jar lasted me two months. It lasts way longer than you think it will! A little goes a long way.
The only thing that you have to watch out for (if you live in North America) is the amount of time it takes to ship from Iceland… my package took awhile to leave customs, but Anna Rósa immediately emailed me about the issue. This balm has genuinely changed my life. I cannot exaggerate how good this balm is. This review is specific to ppl with eczema: I suffer from severe, chronic eczema, I also have seasonal psoriasis, and I’m diagnosed with Type 2 Inflammation. After years of suffering I got scared to try anything new. I have tried SO MANY products which claim that they are “sensitive” or “healing for dry skin”, but which only further irritate my skin or cause an allergic reaction. Not Ann Rósa. This is the ONLY ointment that I can use consistently without my skin either a) becoming irritated or b) building a tolerance to it. I use this balm DAILY in the winter on face, eyes, hands, lips, ears, (really anywhere!) and it gives me a protective layer against the dry, cold, wind. I also love Anna Rósa’s Divine Radiance and Divine Healing creams for face and hands/feet, but really the BLISS HEALING balm is a total all-over game-changer. A little goes a long way, so you don’t have to use much! I use it daily in the winter and I order a little pot every 6-8 weeks. Sometimes I take a bath and put the balm all over my body like a body cream; I wake up with my skin feeling AMAZING in the morning.
